Silvio Sardi after over 30 years of activity in the audiovisual industry in the USA, where he worked as a “producer” for the most important US “majors”, returned to Italy and at the end of 2018 together with his children he set up the company ” Sardi’s Group ”, with the aim of creating the“ Sardi’s Bar & Restaurant ”brand to enhance Piedmontese food and wine products and export them around the world.
As a first step, at the end of 2019 the Hotel Erbaluce hotel was purchased in Caluso (To), in the heart of the Canavese area, within which the first location, the Sardi’s Bar & Restaurant, was opened.
Unfortunately, for the reasons due to the Covid-19 emergency, the activity could not be launched at full capacity, but we are confident that this emergency will soon be overcome and we can proceed with our project.
The business concept is based on the belief that through the enhancement of the territory and Piedmontese food and wine products, it is possible to achieve international success, occupying a market position currently empty of brands related to traditional Piedmontese cuisine.
At Sardi’s Bar & Restaurant you will find a familiar atmosphere and a careful search for the quality of raw materials of products from the Piedmont region, combined with a careful selection of DOC and DOCG wines. It is a meeting place where you can spend hours from aperitif to after dinner tasting our specially created cocktails, accompanied by platters of Piedmontese cold cuts and cheeses or the traditional “merenda sinoira”.
At Sardi’s Bar & Restaurant themed events, karaoke, live music, DJ sets are organized and it is possible to watch for free, on a large screen, all the most important national and international sporting events scheduled on television networks.
